1. What is melt blown cloth?
Melt blown fabric is a kind of non-woven fabric, also known as non-woven fabric. 3. How is the melt blown cloth made?
The non-woven fabric produced by melt blown method is a kind of silk spinning product which can make the high polymer solution just extruded out of the extruder rapidly and high rate stretch and solidify by means of high-speed hot air flow. To put it simply, it is a product formed by quickly assembling together after coming out of the extruder die.
4. What is the raw material for the melt blown cloth?
The main raw material of melt blown cloth is polypropylene, which we often call PP.
5. Why do medical masks have to use melt blown cloth?
The following figure shows the layered structure of the mask. As we know, the non-woven fabric made of polypropylene by extrusion melt spraying is a kind of ultra-fine electrostatic fabric with a fiber diameter of about 2 microns. This diameter is one tenth of the outer fiber of the mask, so it can effectively capture and isolate dust. When the virus droplets are close to the melt spraying cloth, they will also be absorbed on the surface by static electricity and unable to penetrate in the past, effectively preventing bacteria from invading.
